Galvanised & Black Steel

Available in nominal sizes 8mm to 150mm. Fittings will be manufactured from seamless tube, forgings or rolled bar or welded tube in accordance with BS EN: 10241 Latest edition.

Steel Unions

Available in black & galvanised finish, in both female/female & male/female with steel/steel & bronze/steel seats. Steel unions are used in many applications where joints require periodic disconnection. Black are all-purpose unions coated in black oxide to protect the fitting until it is assembled. Galvanised are coated inside and out, to protect the fitting at vital connection areas.

Galvanised Malleable Iron Fittings

Hot Dipped Galvanised Malleable Iron Fittings to ASTM A197A. Our fittings are supplied with BSP taper male / taper female threads.

Buttweld

Buttweld fittings are an economical way to join piping systems, allowing for changes in flow direction without the need to bend the pipe, or mitre join, two options which reduce the efficiency and reliability of the piping system. Buttweld fittings present some advantages for the system, such as a smooth, continuous flow through the system, reducing bottlenecks that cause pressure to drop, and also minimising corrosion.

Material ASTM A234 WPB. Carbon steel buttweld fittings are available to the following dimensional specifications:

• ASME B16.9 covering Long Radius Elbows (90 and 45 degree) return bends, Caps, Tees (straight and reducing), Reducers (Concentric and Eccentric) from 15mm to 600mm NB
• ASME B16.28 covering short radius Elbows and returns from 25mm to 600mm NB
• MMS SP48 covering Long Radius Elbows Tees and reducers from 650mm to 900mm NB
• Range includes from Schedule 10 to Schedule 160 including Std wt, XS and XXS.

Lightweight SGP fittings are also available. Material Test Certificates are available on request.

High Pressure

High pressure fittings are typically used in refineries, petrochemical plants, industrial plants, on pressure vessels, hydraulic lines, refrigeration plants and wherever high pressures and/or temperatures occur. A range of 3000lb and 6000lb NPT fittings are available end in NPT, BSP and Socket Weld, in sizes 8mm to 80mm.
